Room 1 (Kauri) have had a busy and fun filled term. A few events covered are pictured here.

	Left: Jo Holley -Duffy Role Model celebrates with Room One students after presenting all of their Duffy Books. Students still believe she can spin her head around!!!     Right: Lizzy Igasan and Cody from Dancing With the Stars came to show Room 1 the cha-cha. We were all saddened that they were the first to be voted off as we wanted them to do well.

We studied the Treaty of Waitangi, learnt all about making compost units for at home, and recycling waste . Lizzy Igasan and her dance partner visited while Lizzy was here for a wedding. They showed off their moves and we showed our Jump Jam action. Jo Holley was our role model speaker for our Duffy assembly, we also had the Duffy theatre visit to show the "Story Snatcher". Our topic for the term has been "Te Ngahere" and we finished the term with a camp at the Puketi Forest-photos next page. We enjoyed our upgraded swimming pool and surrounds and participated in the combined swimming sports.
